Job summary

Amazon Web Services is seeking a Principal Mechanical Product Manager to define the what and why of the mechanical strategy for next-generation infrastructure and facility systems. You will bridge business goals with physical engineering realities and drive critical decisions across cross-functional teams.

You own platform requirements, prioritization, and the mechanism to collect field and customer signals to shape roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience.
• Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy for a product.
• Strong working knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and mechanical packaging.

Responsibilities

• Own and understand how mechanical designs impact broad infrastructure (cooling, electrical, structural).
• Define and communicate a multi-year vision, strategy, and roadmap for advanced mechanical infrastructure products.
• Standardize mechanical systems into modular, prefabricated skids to speed construction/commissioning.
• Ensure core product line meets global codes and regional constraints.
• Lead alignment across stakeholders and defend platform priorities with business cases.
