Amazon Web Services is seeking a Principal Product Manager with deep expertise in mechanical infrastructure to shape the product strategy for next-generation data center systems. You will lead cross-functional efforts across engineering, facilities, and operations to ensure scalable, cost-efficient solutions aligned with business goals.

In this role you will own the 'what' and 'why' of the mechanical roadmap, validate requirements, and drive prioritization across the portfolio while navigating

Qualifications

• 8+ years of end to end product delivery experience.
• Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of technical product management, program management or engineering experience.
• Strong working knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and mechanical packaging.

Responsibilities

• Own system-level mechanical design impact on cooling, electrical, and structure.
• Define and communicate multi-year mechanical product roadmap and strategy.
• Standardize modular, prefabricated skids to speed data center construction.
• Ensure global compliance and localization across zones and climates.
• Lead cross-functional alignment on facility and product challenges.
• Challenge cost and complexity through value engineering and decisions.
• Provide technical leadership and trade-off evaluations.
• Apply systems thinking to assess upstream/downstream impacts.
