Job summary

Lanco Group in Hazel Crest, IL is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to independently design, analyze, and develop mechanical systems across the product lifecycle, leading small-to-medium projects and mentoring junior engineers.

You will perform FEA and CAD design, collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain, and contribute to standards and continuous improvement while delivering high-quality, reliable products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of practical engineering experience.
• Experience with 3D CAD software and product development.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems and assemblies for products.
• Lead small to medium engineering projects from concept to release.
• Perform advanced analyses and design validation with limited supervision.
• Create drawings, specs, test procedures, and documentation.
• Support manufacturing, service, quality, and supply chain."
• Mentor junior engineers and interns.
