Job summary

Lanco is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to design, analyze, test, and support mechanical systems across the product lifecycle. The role requires independent project leadership, collaboration across teams, and technical mentorship for junior engineers.

You will perform advanced calculations, develop drawings and specifications, and drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, and reliability. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• 3+ years of practical engineering experience.
• Proficiency with CAD software and engineering design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Independently design and develop mechanical systems, structures, components, and assemblies.
• Lead small to medium-sized projects from concept through release.
• Perform advanced calculations, analyses, and design validation with limited supervision.
• Develop drawings, specs, test procedures, and documentation.
• Support manufacturing, service, quality, and supply chain teams.
