Job summary

Strategy Engineering and Consulting, LLC is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Manager to supervise the Mechanical and Process Engineering groups. The role involves delegating project work, ensuring accurate execution, and serving as technical advisor for offshore and onshore oil & gas facilities.

Candidates should have 15+ years in mechanical/process engineering, be a licensed PE in the U.S. and willing to licensure in multiple states, with knowledge of ANSI/NFPA/ASME/ISO standards

Qualifications

• A registered professional engineer in the United States and willing to obtain licensure in more than 1 state.
• 15+ years of experience in mechanical or process engineering activities.
• Experience with design of facilities and mechanical/process equipment (vessels, pumps, exchangers).
• Familiar with ANSI, NFPA, ASME, ASTM, AWS, ISO, NACE and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise engineers in project execution and ensure quality and technical accuracy.
• Define design requirements for offshore and onshore oil & gas facilities.
• Contribute inputs for cost estimates and scopes of work for proposals.
• Coordinate with drafting and piping in preparation of mechanical and process drawings.
• Provide engineering calculations for sizing and selection of equipment.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on projects.
