Job summary

Gryphon Oakwood is partnering with a leading industrial contractor in the Pacific Northwest to appoint a Senior Project Manager to lead mechanical projects across the Pulp & Paper, Oil & Gas, and Advanced Manufacturing sectors.

The successful candidate will own complex projects, lead multidisciplinary teams, and drive performance across facilities, with extensive experience in process piping, boiler services, and millwright operations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing mechanical projects across pulp & paper, oil & gas, and manufacturing.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time and on budget.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Travel to Pacific Northwest sites required.

Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle from planning to closeout.
• Oversee mechanical scopes including piping, boiler services, and millwright work.
• Manage budgets, cost forecasting, cash flow, and profitability.
• Develop schedules and coordinate resources, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Lead and mentor project staff and coordinate with clients.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions.
