Job summary

CyberCoders, Inc. in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to oversee large-scale commercial mechanical construction projects in Southern California.

You will lead project teams, manage budgets, schedules, procurement, and client relationships from turnover to closeout. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical construction expertise and a proven track record delivering HVAC, plumbing, piping, and MEP projects on time and within budget while upholding safety and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of project management experience within commercial construction.
• Strong experience managing HVAC, plumbing, piping, mechanical, or MEP construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage commercial mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
• Maintain full accountability for project financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, cost control, billing, and profitability.
• Develop and execute project plans, schedules, procurement strategies, and staffing requirements.
• Manage relationships with owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, and key project stakeholders.
• Review and negotiate contracts, change orders, and project-related agreements.
• Oversee project procurement activities, including subcontractor and vendor buyouts.
