Job summary

CyberCoders, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager for plumbing/HVAC in Bakersfield, CA. You will oversee large-scale commercial mechanical construction projects, handling client relationships, budgets, scheduling, procurement, and team leadership.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of PM experience in commercial construction, strong HVAC/mechanical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects with safety and quality in mind. Procore/Bluebeam experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years PM experience in commercial construction.
• Strong HVAC, plumbing, piping, or MEP project experience.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specs.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and CM tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Own project financials: budgets, forecasting, cost control, billing, profitability.
• Develop schedules, procurement strategies, and staffing requirements.
• Manage relationships with owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, and vendors.
• Review contracts, change orders, and project-related agreements.
• Oversee procurement activities, including subcontracts and vendor buyouts.
• Monitor progress and address schedule, budget, labor, and operational challenges.
• Lead project meetings and ensure clear communication across teams.
• Mentor junior staff such as Assistant PMs and Engineers, support BIM/prefab initiatives.
