Job summary

Omni Staffing is partnering with a well-established Virginia mechanical contractor to hire an experienced Project Manager. This role oversees HVAC, plumbing, and process piping projects on healthcare facilities, large commercial buildings, government, and industrial sites, from award through closeout.

You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and safety, lead subcontractors, coordinate with in-house fabrication, and drive projects to milestones while maintaining client satisfaction and a strong

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of PM experience with a mechanical contractor.
• Experience managing commercial, healthcare, institutional, government, or industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, construction docs, and specs.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and change orders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with GCs, owners, and field teams.
• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from award to closeout, owning scope, schedule, and budget.
• Purchase orders and subcontracts; manage equipment and subcontractors.
• Track costs, forecast labor/materials, and own project P&L.
• Price and manage change orders; submit RFIs and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with in-house fabrication and field teams.
• Build schedules and hit milestones with GCs and owners.
• Lead project meetings; main contact for GCs, owners, engineers.
• Support estimating and preconstruction on new pursuits.
• Drive closeout, warranties, and O&M documentation.
• Promote strong safety culture on every project.
