Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial and industrial mechanical construction from preconstruction through closeout in the Frederick, MD area. You will oversee budgets, schedules, and subcontractor coordination while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on PM experience with HVAC and plumbing systems, strong leadership, and proficiency with project management software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial mechanical project management experience.
• Experience managing large, complex HVAC and plumbing projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling and financial tracking.
• Familiarity with project management software platforms.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

A regionally recognized mechanical construction and facilities services firm is seeking experienced Mechanical Project Managers to support large-scale commercial and industrial projects. This organization provides full lifecycle mechanical solutions including HVAC, plumbing, controls/building automation, engineering services, and prefabrication support. Projects include healthcare, education, mission-critical facilities, commercial high-rise, and industrial installations.

Position Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for leading mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role requires strong leadership, financial oversight, scheduling expertise, and coordination with internal engineering and fabrication teams.
