Job summary

Mullins Mechanical is seeking an experienced General Superintendent - Mechanical, Pipe, HVAC, Plumbing to lead on-site construction efforts across projects. You will oversee crews, coordinate daily operations, ensure safety standards, and collaborate with project management to maintain schedules and budgets.

You will drive quality control, manage materials and equipment, and lead weekly site meetings while mentoring foremen and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Experience leading construction sites and teams on medium to large projects.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and health guidelines on job sites.
• Ability to communicate professionally and lead multiple crews.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite construction as a unified and collaborative team.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations of assigned projects.
• Manage field responsibilities on medium to complex projects and multiple crews.
• Collaborate with PM to create and maintain project schedule.
• Lead jobsite introductions, training, and assignments for new hires.
• Conduct regular employee reviews as needed.
• Provide technical guidance during bidding and planning phases.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and maintain safety plans.
• Assist in purchasing take-offs and project consumables.
• Review contract documents and project plans.
• Prepare two-week look ahead schedules with PM.
• Communicate delays and impacts to PM and stakeholders.
• Oversee material management, deliveries, and logistics.
• Organize and lead weekly project meetings with Foremen and subcontractors.
• Track progress of Foremen to ensure performance.
• Attend close-out meetings to document lessons learned.
