Job summary

JE Dunn’s Advanced Facilities Group seeks an Estimating Manager 2: Mechanical/Piping - Power to lead preconstruction for complex power generation projects. You will work with preconstruction, operations, engineering partners, OEMs, and vendors to assess cost, schedule, and risk, ensuring alignment with JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

You will prepare complex estimates, coordinate with vendors and subcontractors, and apply your knowledge of mechanical, piping, and power systems to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field (Preferred).
• 5+ years estimating experience (Preferred).
• Experience estimating mechanical and piping scopes for thermal power facilities or similar industrial power facilities from conceptual through IFC design.

Responsibilities

• Performs quantity surveys of mechanical and piping materials and systems shown in project plans and technical documents.
• Prepares complex mechanical and piping cost estimates for site studies, competitive bids and negotiated proposals across multiple projects.
• Develops and manages mechanical and piping scopes of work, bidder instructions, plan and specification distribution, and pricing coordination.
