The role requires 10+ years in maintenance, strong leadership, and the ability to work overtime in a union environment. You will mentor staff, manage contractors, and uphold precision maintenance standards in a high‑tempo setting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of maintenance experience in pulp and paper manufacturing.
• Strong maintenance background with precision maintenance skills.
• Excellent leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Good communication skills to build trust and drive tasks.
• Proficient with MS Office and maintenance systems.
• Must be 18+ and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Team-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to withstand varying temperatures and weather conditions.
• Willing to work overtime and pass drug/background checks.
• Comfortable working in a Union environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all scheduled work, including emergency and non-routine, is complete.
• Ensure all work is performed according to precision maintenance standards.
• Participate in daily/weekly scheduling to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with area leadership to manage overtime costs and assignments.
• Participate on weekend duty rotation and other off-hour work assignments.
• Assist with management of contractor assignments in your area.
