NextDecade is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor, Mechanical to lead mechanical maintenance across the LNG facility. The role emphasizes safety, quality practices, and maximizing equipment availability.

The incumbent will manage a multi-discipline team, ensure training and competency, and oversee planning, scheduling, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with Turnaround activities and major shutdowns.

Qualifications

• Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Mechanical Maintenance activities.
• 5+ years LNG Export Facility experience in a Mechanical Maintenance Execution lead role, supervising maintenance personnel.
• Experience interpreting Engineering Drawings and Documentation.
• Experience with Safety Critical Elements (SCE) testing and inspection to meet compliance.
• GOAL setting and performance management experience.
• Strong CMMS knowledge (SAP or similar).
• Experience in Turnarounds and major maintenance activities.
• LNG mechanical piping and equipment experience including piping fabrication/repair.

• Lead safety culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
• Coach, mentor and lead maintenance team members to reach their full potential.
• Ensure competent labor availability for critical activities.
• Oversee training and competency requirements for all maintenance disciplines.
• Provide leadership to all maintenance disciplines and uphold a One-Team approach.
• Support Integrated Activity Planning & Scheduling for RGLNG.
• Oversee Preventative & Corrective Maintenance plans aligned to facility equipment.
• Lead execution of regulatory compliance and manage deferrals/backlog.
• Manage mechanical maintenance for breakdown, corrective, and preventative tasks.
• Support Turnaround leadership before and during outages.
• Lead mechanical teams during major plant and unit shutdowns.
• Safe completion of planned activities on schedule, minimize cost & deferrals.
• Review materials and parts for optimization.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
• Cover for Maintenance Superintendent when required.
• Lead maintenance execution meetings and daily workfront attendance.
• Manage tooling inventory and calibration equipment.
