Job summary

INEOS USA LLC is seeking an Inspector at the Chocolate Bayou site in Alvin, TX. The role focuses on maintaining mechanical integrity, conducting PSM-compliant inspections of piping and fixed equipment, and documenting results using PCMS.

You will work with the maintenance team and NDE contractors, support outages, and help ensure safety and reliability through inspections, NDE, and quality assurance activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in pressure vessel and piping inspection in petrochemical/refining/oil and gas industries.
• Current API-510 or API-570 certification required; Level II NDE certification preferred.
• ASME/API inspection knowledge; ability to read drawings and repair packages.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of fixed equipment and piping to ensure PSM compliance.
• Document inspections using PCMS and other QA tools; report findings to Chief Inspector.
• Coordinate with NDE technicians and maintenance teams during outages and repairs.
• Support design/repair reviews to ensure appropriate NDE and safety measures.
