Job summary

INEOS Olefins & Polymers USA seeks a Maintenance I&E Technician for its Chocolate Bayou facility near Alvin, Texas. You will calibrate analyzers, troubleshoot motor circuits, support field instrumentation, and develop work plans to minimize production impact.

Responsibilities include maintaining instrumentation, participating in incident investigations, repairing valves, and documenting calibrations with PC/SCADA tools, while upholding safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required with 5 years of process instrumentation experience or an Associates degree in a related technical field, or ISA CCST certification.
Must be able to obtain a TWIC card.
Experience in petrochemical/refinery/pulp/paper or related industry preferred.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, repair and adjust plant critical equipment (motors, circuits, valves, analyzers).
Provide field instrumentation support for process equipment.
Develop work plans to minimize production impact and improve reliability.
Assist in maintaining instrumentation and participate in incident investigations and corrective actions.
Repair, test and calibrate control valves; troubleshoot light circuits.
Maintain records using PCs/mainframe systems; communicate status across teams.
