Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking skilled technicians and engineers to support the development and operation of liquid rocket engine test facilities at its sites, including Van Horn, TX. You will work with engineers on planning, assembling, fabricating, and maintaining complex mechanical systems and test stands for spaceflight programs.

Candidates should have multiple years of experience in propulsion facility or test operations, strong drafting interpretation, and the ability to travel for deployments up

Qualifications

• 3+ years in rocket engine or jet engine testing or test facility support.
• Ability to work with safety-critical hardware and systems.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.
• Capable of lifting 40 lbs and working in adverse weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and construction of rocket engine test facilities.
• Lead rebuilding, troubleshooting and maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, cryogenic systems and ground support equipment.
• Plan and execute assembly for complex mechanical systems; fabricate and install tubing and valves.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvements to safety, cost-savings, and operational efficiency.
