Job summary
Blue Origin LLC is seeking an Integration Technician to fabricate, maintain, and operate instrumentation and controls systems for rocket engine testing at the Van Horn site. You will support sensor calibrations and harness installation, ensuring proper checkout of flight hardware and instrumentation while following stringent safety procedures for hazardous substances and high-pressure systems.
The role requires 2+ years in instrumentation/controls or avionics, the ability to read
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Instrumentation & Controls, Avionics, rocket/jet engine testing or similar field.
- Ability to follow electrical schematics, diagrams, and P&ID.
- Experience with assembly, testing, and inspection of harnesses and electronic components.
- Familiar with test, flight, safety, and handling of critical hardware.
- Experience with Data Acquisition Systems and instrumentation calibration.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting low voltage systems, 4-20mA signals, and thermocouples.
Responsibilities
- Fabrication, maintenance, and operation of instrumentation and controls systems used in rocket engine testing.
- Support sensor calibrations, installation, and checkout of wire harnesses, flight hardware, and instrumentation systems.
- Adhere to safety procedures when working with hazardous chemicals and high-pressure systems.
