Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in full-cycle mechanical/structural design roles (concept to flight/production).
• Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering with CAD experience.
• Strong background in structural and thermal analysis methods like FEA.
• Proven ownership of complex projects under schedule pressure.

Aufgaben

• Own mechanical/structural design, packaging, analysis, test, and validation of secondary structure within the Terran R Avionics system.
• Provide technical direction across the secondary structure portfolio — set design standards, review and approve analysis and drawings, and make architecture-level trade decisions.
• Drive cross-functional integration with Avionics, Fluids, Dynamics, Thermal, Structures, and Vehicle Integration teams, serving as the primary point of accountability for your secondary structure delivery and interfaces. Perform modal, structural, and thermal analysis of hardware to static, dynamic, and thermal environments, and ensure analysis rigor and design margins are appropriate for flight.
