Job summary

Relativity Space, Inc. is seeking a Senior Avionics Hardware Engineer, Power, in Long Beach, CA.

You will design, test, and verify custom electronics across the Terran R program, from concept through flight readiness, partnering with propulsion, GNC, fluids, and stage teams to ensure successful integration. You will bring a deep background in electronics design, plus strong project management to keep hardware on schedule, delivering reliable systems that power the vehicle and ground operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of electronics design for harsh environments and mission-critical applications such as launch vehicles, spacecraft, aircraft, or robotics.
• Familiarity with eCAD software such as Altium.
• Experience with hardware bring-up, validation, debugging, and data analysis.
• Experience with board-level design from concept to manufacturing.
• Experience working with highly cross-functional teams (mechanical, thermal, electrical, software, etc.) to develop integrated electronics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and analyze custom electronics on the Terran R launch vehicle.
• Oversee hardware development through the full product lifecycle from concept to flight maturity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, on-schedule hardware delivery.
