Job summary

Actalent seeks a senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical and HVAC design for complex industrial projects. You will coordinate models, review specifications, and drive multidisciplinary design collaboration with vendors and construction teams.

The role requires 12+ years in EPC/EPCm or chemical processing, advanced HVAC expertise, and BIM coordination experience. ASHRAE membership or HVAC certification is preferred. On-site role in a major project environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Requires 12+ years of professional engineering experience, including substantial EPC/EPCm or chemical process industry experience.
• Advanced HVAC design and specification expertise is required.
• Experience with vendor evaluations and BIM coordination is needed.
• Ability to support construction, commissioning, and junior staff; ASHRAE membership or HVAC certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical and HVAC engineering for complex industrial and mission-critical projects, including system design, equipment specifications, model coordination, and multidisciplinary integration.
• Review engineering deliverables and support construction and commissioning activities.
• Contribute to cost estimates and mentor junior engineers while ensuring quality, budget, and schedule goals.
