Diamond Peak Recruiting is seeking a Mechanical Fabrication & Manufacturing Project Manager in Dallas. This role leads projects from design through fabrication, delivery, and field installation, focusing on schedule, budget, quality, and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in mechanical construction, with HVAC, piping, plumbing, and prefabrication experience, and strong cross-team coordination, procurement, and BIM/VDC familiarity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical construction, fabrication, manufacturing, or project management.
• Strong experience with HVAC, mechanical piping, plumbing, or related mechanical systems.
• Experience managing mechanical projects from planning through fabrication and field installation.
• Understanding of mechanical fabrication and prefabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, plans, and fabrication documents.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, cost control, and change management.
• Experience coordinating shop and field operations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical fabrication and prefabrication projects from kickoff to closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and delivery milestones.
• Coordinate fabrication and field installation with multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Monitor costs, labor, materials, and change orders to protect margins.
• Ensure accurate documentation and regular leadership reporting.
• Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with BIM/VDC teams to ensure constructible fabrication drawings.
