Diamond Peak Recruiting seeks an experienced Mechanical Manufacturing Project Manager to lead fabrication and field installation in the Fort Worth area. The role requires hands-on oversight of sheet metal, piping, HVAC, and related mechanical systems from planning through completion.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in mechanical project management, strong coordination with fabrication teams, field crews, and clients, plus solid scheduling and budgeting skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical project management experience.
• Strong background in mechanical construction and/or fabrication.
• Hands-on experience with sheet metal, piping, HVAC, or related mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, plans, and specs.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and change-order understanding.
• Experience coordinating fabrication with field installation.
• Comfort working with customers, field personnel, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical projects from kickoff through completion, on time and within budget.
• Coordinate fabrication/manufacturing, field operations, vendors, and customers.
• Review drawings, specs, schedules, and scopes of work for accuracy.
• Coordinate sheet metal, piping, HVAC, and other fabrication requirements.
• Ensure materials and components are produced to project specs.
• Oversee procurement, production schedules, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate shop to jobsite installation for seamless transition.
• Identify issues early and develop corrective solutions.
• Track costs, change orders, labor, and overall performance.
• Communicate with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
