Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Senior Mechanical Estimator to oversee lump sum, unit rate and cost plus estimates supporting proposals, projects and change orders. You will coordinate across disciplines and assist pre-construction activities.

Minimum qualifications include 10+ years of estimating experience and the ability to lead, train, and improve estimating processes. This role aligns with our Minnesota offices, travel as required, and a strong emphasis on accuracy and value

Qualifications

10+ years of estimating experience.
Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, MVR search).
BS or MS in Construction Management or related field preferred.

Responsabilités

Prepare cost estimates on proposals, projects and studies and ensure estimate content is complete and accurate.
Plan, coordinate, review, verify and analyze all aspects of estimates and estimate presentation.
Direct, train and develop subordinates.
Maintain the company estimating database.
Coordinate and review variable estimating factors with Engineering Operations, Procurement and Construction.
Assist in planning and development of formal training programs.
