Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking an experienced Estimator for our Overland Park, KS team. The role focuses on lump sum, unit rate, and cost plus estimates, with involvement in pre-construction activities and bid preparation.

You will review scopes, develop quantities, and coordinate multidisciplinary estimates to support competitive proposals. Strong analytical and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Pre-employment onboarding including background check and drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and consolidate discipline estimates into the Proposal Estimate.
• Review design scopes and develop quantities.
• Perform productivity analysis of construction operations.
• Prepare direct labor and indirect cost estimates.
• Prepare contingency, escalation and reconciliation for estimates.
• Update and maintain historical cost data.
