Job summary

Progressive Mechanical, Inc. in Michigan seeks a senior estimator to prepare and coordinate full estimates on large, complex mechanical projects.

You will provide input on design and bid strategy, supervise junior estimators, and ensure accuracy of cost data and schedules. The role requires 7+ years of estimating experience in mechanical contracting, strong MS Office and estimation software skills, and the ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have 7+ years of estimating experience in mechanical contracting.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet resources.
• Experience with estimation software and large complex bids is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead bidding process including solicitation, communication, proposals, evaluation and analysis.
• Coach and mentor direct reports / junior estimators.
• Organize and maintain company specifications and apply standards for Design/Build work.
• Travel to various construction sites as needed.
