Job summary

Walbridge is looking for a Senior Mechanical Estimator to lead mechanical estimating efforts on large, complex projects and shape preconstruction strategy. You will mentor team members, ensure accurate estimates, and support client engagement. The role offers opportunities across multiple U.S.

regional offices with travel as needed. The candidate should bring 4+ years of estimating experience, a mechanical engineering background, and strong proficiency in Excel and estimating tools.

Qualifications

• Licensed Journeyperson or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 4+ year engineering or estimating experience.
• Significant mechanical estimating experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, piping, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical estimating strategy for complex projects.
• Develop bid strategies and support design-build/CM proposals.
• Mentor estimating team and drive best practices.
• Coordinate with project teams to align estimate with execution.
