Job summary

Corvant seeks a Senior Estimator to lead comprehensive mechanical estimates for HVAC, plumbing, piping, and sheet metal on commercial and industrial projects. You’ll convert drawings into clear scopes and pricing while protecting margins and collaborating with BD and Operations to win bids.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in mechanical estimating, strong skills in reading drawings, and proficiency with estimating software. Travel to sites and meetings may be required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years estimating experience in mechanical, HVAC, plumbing or related trades.
• Strong ability to read and interpret drawings, specs and contracts.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of complete, accurate mechanical estimates for HVAC, plumbing, piping and sheet metal scopes.
• Develop takeoffs and pricing using historical data and estimating software.
• Prepare bid summaries and advise leadership on pricing strategy and margins.
• Mentor estimators and interns and ensure consistency with standards.
