Job summary

Consertus, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to join our team in Guaynabo, PR or onsite as required. You will prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical systems on construction projects, analyzing drawings, specs, labor, materials, and subcontractor quotes to support bids and budgeting.

The ideal candidate has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of estimating experience in industrial or commercial projects, proficiency with estimating software, and strong communication to

Qualifications

• BSME required; 8+ years in mechanical estimation for construction.
• Experience with large-scale mechanical projects preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specs accurately.

Responsibilities

• Review mechanical drawings and specifications to prepare estimates.
• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for mechanical systems.
• Analyze labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Develop cost breakdowns and support bid proposals.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.
