Enphase Energy, Inc. is seeking a senior Mechanical Engineering leader to own the SST mechanical architecture for high-power racks and enclosures.

You will drive multi-disciplinary design decisions, lead a growing team, and partner across power electronics, firmware, systems, manufacturing, and quality groups to deliver reliable hardware. The role requires 12+ years of experience in mechanical design, expertise with SolidWorks, and a track record in DFM/DFA and supplier collaboration.

Qualifikationen

• 12+ years of experience in mechanical product design and development
• Experience leading mechanical engineering teams of 4+ engineers
• Experience with mechanical design and integration of electrical support equipment for high-power products
• Expertise in injection molding, sheet metal, CNC, and stamping/die casting
• Proficiency with SolidWorks (preferably in a PDM/EPDM environment)
• Experience with DFM/DFA and supplier collaboration
• Experience with investigative and verification testing, writing test plans and reports
• Strong cross-functional communication to senior leadership and stakeholders

Aufgaben

• Own the mechanical architecture for SST racks and enclosures
• Drive design options and reviews; optimize electromechanical assemblies
• Apply DFM/DFA across the product lifecycle including supplier qualification
• Engage cross-functionally with power electronics, hardware, firmware, systems, manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams
• Identify and resolve design conflicts; ensure compliance with UL, IEC, NEMA and other standards
• Build and grow the mechanical engineering team; recruit and onboard engineers
• Present program status, risks, and design decisions to leadership and stakeholders
