You will oversee equipment design, piping, structural integration, and utilities as we scale up R&D into commercial operations, coordinating with R&D, controls, and external partners. Qualifications

• 20+ years of progressive engineering experience in industrial, chemical processing, aerospace, defense, or related complex environments.
• 7+ years of experience leading engineers, technical teams, or multidisciplinary project teams.
• Proven ability to translate R&D/pilot concepts into engineered systems for scale-up.
• Strong proficiency with 3D CAD, fabrication methods, and industrial installation practices.

Responsabilités

• Lead the mechanical engineering team for equipment design, piping systems, structural integration, mechanical layouts, and support of process scale-up.
• Collaborate with R&D to translate pilot concepts into scalable mechanical systems for larger operations.
• Oversee design, specifications, and implementation of process equipment, structures, skids, piping, tanks, reactors, and utilities.
• Coordinate with controls engineering to integrate mechanical equipment with instrumentation and control systems.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple disciplines and mentor the engineering team.
• Review designs, drawings, vendor documents, and fabrication packages for quality and safety.
