Qualifications

• Registered professional engineer (PE).
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years diversified engineering experience with at least 10 years in supervision or management.

Responsibilities

• Ensures quality, accuracy and compliance with IPS standards, procedures, codes and ordinances.
• Primarily responsible for quality of unit output aligned to project goals and IPS guidelines.
• Contributes technical input and oversees department output for compliance with project requirements.
• Develops and implements standards and tools to meet or exceed quality and performance expectations.
• Oversees manpower planning and assigns resources across multiple concurrent projects.
• Recruits, retains and develops staffing plans to meet forecast labor and skills needs.
• Supervises designers and engineers and ensures proper management and training.
• Fosters a positive work environment and staff development.
• Communicates staffing levels with management.
• Prepares proposals for services and supports proposals by others.
• Supports business development with presentations and related activities.
