Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior/Staff Mechanical Engineer to lead warhead designs from prototype to production. The role focuses on design, platform integration, modeling and simulation, performance testing, and transition to production.

Applicants should have strong hands-on leadership, experience with complex systems, and a willingness to own programs end-to-end in a dynamic defense environment. Security clearance and U.S. citizenship are prerequisites.

Qualifications

• BS or higher degree in mechanical, aerospace, or related engineering required.
• Experience creating complex mechanical designs and drawings with CAD/PLM tools (NX, Teamcenter).
• Experience executing tests to verify and validate designs meet objectives.
• U.S. Person required due to export-controlled information or facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead warhead and complex ordnance/munitions designs from prototype to production.
• Create drawings, specifications, test procedures, and technical reports.
• Manage testing and data analysis including high-speed video when needed.
• Coordinate safety protocols and doD compliance during testing.
