Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, optimization, and maintenance of mechanical systems within our manufacturing facility. This full-time role requires advanced technical expertise and leadership capabilities to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of mechanical operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, analysis, and optimization of mechanical systems, including HVAC, compressed air, and water systems.
Oversee troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex mechanical and utility-related issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement engineering solutions for continuous improvement.
Manage capital projects, upgrades, and system installations, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Maintain and update mechanical schematics, documentation, and preventive maintenance plans.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
Drive energy efficiency and cost-saving initiatives through engineering analysis and innovation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Professional Engineer (PE) license is .
7–10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering roles within manufacturing or heavy industry.
Expertise in mechanical systems design, maintenance, and optimization.
Proficiency with engineering design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Excellent problem-solving, project management, and leadership skills.
Knowledge of predictive maintenance and Industry 4.0 technologies is a plus.
