Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, optimization, and maintenance of mechanical systems within our manufacturing facility. This full-time role requires advanced technical expertise and leadership capabilities to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of mechanical operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, analysis, and optimization of mechanical systems, including HVAC, compressed air, and water systems.

• Oversee troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex mechanical and utility-related issues.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement engineering solutions for continuous improvement.

• Manage capital projects, upgrades, and system installations, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.

• Maintain and update mechanical schematics, documentation, and preventive maintenance plans.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.

• Drive energy efficiency and cost-saving initiatives through engineering analysis and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Professional Engineer (PE) license is .

• 7–10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering roles within manufacturing or heavy industry.

• Expertise in mechanical systems design, maintenance, and optimization.

• Proficiency with engineering design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.

• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

• Excellent problem-solving, project management, and leadership skills.

• Knowledge of predictive maintenance and Industry 4.0 technologies is a plus.
