Lead a product design team from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery within budget, and transitioning designs into manufacturing.

The ideal candidate has a BS Mechanical Engineering with 7+ years of experience, strong math and materials science knowledge, and experience with electro-mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• BSME with 7+ years of qualified experience.
• Knowledge of precision machining theory, tools and techniques.
• Highly skilled with algebra, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
• Experienced in materials science and electro-mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead assigned projects to meet specifications, schedules, and budgets.
• Conceptualize and design components using 3-D modeling software.
• Create bills of material and assist sourcing.
• Manage vendor relationships and monitor conformance.
• Generate technical documentation (manuals, bulletins).
• Process engineering changes (ECOs) and participate in design reviews.
• Coordinate with Service, Manufacturing, and Planning to maintain production flow.
• Research data to ensure specifications reflect the actual product.
• Perform hardware verification testing on the assembly floor with CNC machines and measurement tools.
• Interact with customers and participate in sales activities as needed; travel for installations and repairs.
