Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a facilities professional
• 2+ years of experience in an assigned field, including mechanical systems or construction
• Experience with the implementation or execution of design documents
• Experience reviewing design documentation and identifying deficiencies, inaccuracies, and noncompliance issues with the design intent
• Ability to evaluate conditions and draft engineering memos that provide sound engineering guidance consistent with industry best practices and all federal, state, and local codes
• Ability to review and perform engineering calculations
• Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering review and oversight for operations, maintenance, repair, and construction.
• Coordinate with trade shops and prioritize work across projects.
• Direct project schedules, funding, and contractor performance.
• Assist CO and COTR with acquisition planning, execution, and administration; conduct pre-bid and pre-construction site visits.
• Ensure MAXIMO data entry and integration with building systems.
