Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer for a heavy industrial steel operations environment. The role involves troubleshooting, engineering design, and leading major projects on melting equipment, baghouse systems, and plant upgrades.

You will work on-site with Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering teams, traveling as needed, to improve equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency across the facility.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline; equivalent experience considered.
• 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience in steelmaking, metals, foundry, manufacturing, or heavy industry.
• Experience with large baghouse, dust collection, environmental systems is highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot, improve, and optimize mechanical and hydraulic systems across the facility.
• Lead reliability and continuous improvement initiatives to increase uptime and efficiency.
• Support and manage melting and steelmaking equipment upgrades, installations, and troubleshooting.
• Provide engineering expertise for large industrial baghouse and environmental systems.
• Lead capital and facility improvement projects from concept through completion; develop scopes, specs, bids, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Evaluate equipment suppliers and contractors, review proposals, negotiate contracts, and oversee outside resources.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, vendors, and other teams to keep projects moving forward.
• Manage projects to budgets, schedules, safety requirements, and performance expectations.
