Job summary

Requirements include SolidWorks CSWP or equivalent, extensive sheet metal and parts design, PCB assemblies, BOM creation, and cross-functional interaction with engineers and lab technicians. Hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• BSME or MSME from an accredited university.
• Familiarity with mechanical CAD and simulation software.
• Extensive experience in mechanical engineering design.
• Ability to understand and design mechanical assemblies promptly.
• Familiarity with basic shop tools.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design of sheet metal and injection molded parts, plus thermal and structural analysis and reporting.
• Review and check engineering drawings.
• Creation and release of the Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Preparation and release of Engineering Change Orders and Deviations.
• Conduct design reviews using PowerPoint, Excel, or similar tools.
• Adhere to project schedules and milestones.
• Support cross-functional team meetings and prototype builds.
