Job summary

Allegion in Blue Ash, OH is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a global team focused on safety and access management. This onsite role defines mechanical system requirements and leads cross-functional design activities.

You will work with Creo, perform FMEA, GD&T, and develop 3D models and documentation for manufacturing and testing. 7+ years of experience and BS in Mechanical Engineering are required.

Qualifications

• Define mechanical system requirements to meet stakeholder needs.
• Use FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and GD&T to mitigate risks early.
• Verify designs meet requirements with proper methods.
• Prepare 3D models, drawings, and manufacturing/test documentation.
• Experience with Pro-E/Creo is a plus.
• Collaborate across Manufacturing, Operations and other brands.

Responsibilities

• Lead design reviews and cross-functional collaboration.
• Coordinate development timelines to meet delivery and cost commitments.
• Provide day-to-day direction for team members.
• Develop technical documentation and change management.
• Guide supplier reviews and process development initiatives.
