Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar
• 5-12 years mechanical design experience across product lifecycle
• Experience with design/development from concept to production
• Engineering Changes on DoD programs experience preferred
• Proficiency with 3-D CAD tools (CREO and/or SolidWorks)
• ASME Y14.5 GD&T knowledge
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support for mechanical design and product issues on DOD programs
• Electromechanical design, layout, and modeling of assemblies and robotic hardware
• Lead design tasks and review documentation at the Franklin, MA facility
• Create designs and drawings for production and perform tolerance analysis
• Interface with vendors and customers; participate in cost estimation
