Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years experience designing commercial mechanical products, preferably medical devices.
• Proficiency with CAD to design and document mechanisms; SolidWorks preferred.
• Hands-on engineering with strong teamwork and project ownership.
• Familiar with product lifecycle from design through transfer to manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams on accessory development and large architectural projects.
• Design and document components for robotic surgical systems.
• Develop product architectures and design specifications.
• Create and test prototypes and perform verification/validation testing.
• Support transfer of designs to production and supplier development.
