You will tackle complex electro‑mechanical challenges, drive design for manufacturability, and mentor engineers across disciplines to deliver reliable, high‑performance robotic applications. Innovative problem‑solving is essential as we refine components, validate performance, and partner with manufacturing to reduce costs

Qualifications

• Self-driven, capable of leading cross-functional teams to design, verify and improve robotic products.
• Proficient in CAD (Solidworks preferred), GD&T, and functional dimensioning.
• Ability to identify issues, lead teams to solutions, and support manufacturing.
• Experience across product development lifecycle from concept to transfer to manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and verification of robotic components and mechanisms.
• Investigate root causes of defects in design, manufacturing, or materials.
• Develop, test, document, and implement design solutions per SOPs.
• Create mechanical drawings for volume manufacturing in regulated environments.
• Perform tolerance stack, process simulation, and structural FEA analyses.
• Collaborate with suppliers to optimize fabrication methods and costs.
• Develop and execute design verification and validation protocols.
• Provide mechanical engineering support for field and manufacturing issues.
• Support risk assessments and audits as required.
• Mentor engineers and align goals with project objectives.
