Harvard Bioscience is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the product development team supporting the Buxco line of respiratory and inhalation systems. You will drive sustainable design, improve existing products, and push next-generation systems through concept to commercialization.

The role requires expertise in mechanical design, precision instrumentation, and system integration, with a strong focus on manufacturability and cross-functional collaboration across engineering

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required.
• Minimum of 5 years in mechanical engineering, preferably in medical devices or life sciences.
• Experience with design for manufacturability and assembly.

Mansioni

• Lead mechanical design and development of new respiratory systems from concept to commercialization.
• Provide sustaining engineering for existing products, with design updates and cost reduction.
• Create and maintain design documentation per company policies.
• Perform analyses including DFMEA and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, firmware, manufacturing, and scientific services teams.
• Support prototyping, design verification, and product validation activities.
• Interface with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure manufacturability and quality.
