Job summary

Eichleay, Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead and mentor a team on refinery and industrial projects.

You will shape scope, design, and field support while coordinating with clients, vendors, and construction personnel in a schedule-driven, collaborative environment. This remote/hybrid role may be performed from approved Eichleay locations, with preference for candidates near Ferndale, WA; travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science and/or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 8+ years of progressive mechanical engineering experience in refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, or similar facilities.
• Ability to lead deliverables and provide technical direction across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of mechanical engineers for refinery and industrial clients.
• Provide technical direction and quality review for mechanical deliverables.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and construction personnel.
• Ensure designs meet ASME, API, NBIC, NBIC, and other applicable standards.
• Prepare equipment data sheets and piping technical documentation.
• Mentor less-experienced engineers and support project planning and startup activities.
