Job summary

Eichleay, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This role offers remote work with every other Friday off, with a hybrid option in Ferndale, WA.

You will mentor engineers, influence projects from concept through startup, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality mechanical solutions. The candidate should have strong expertise in process piping, fixed and rotating equipment, and a track record of leading engineering deliverables in

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering required (Master's preferred).
• 8+ years of mechanical engineering experience in refinery/oil & gas or industrial facilities.
• Experience leading engineering deliverables and mentoring a team.
• PE license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of mechanical engineers for refinery and industrial clients and perform lead tasks.
• Develop scope, design execution, quality review, and construction support.
• Ensure mechanical designs meet ASME/API/NBIC and other standards.
• Prepare equipment descriptions, sizing calculations, data sheets, and technical docs.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, construction personnel and other engineering disciplines.
• Provide technical direction during design reviews, field walkdowns, and startup readiness.
