Qualifications

• Candidate must hold a TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.
• Minimum five years in Mechanical Engineering or three years with an advanced degree.
• Experience with rapid, iterative design and prototyping methods.
• Hands-on experience building, testing, and troubleshooting prototypes (motors, actuators, sensors).
• CAD proficiency with SolidWorks and Revit preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze mechanical systems for programs.
• Create and deliver technical drawings and documentation.
• Coordinate hardware fabrication and assembly activities.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and cost estimates.
• Lead design reviews and support the Program Manager.
• Coach less experienced engineers and provide guidance.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
