Syska Hennessy Group in New York, NY is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead complex MEP design projects. The role focuses on design development, CAD/BIM coordination, and field coordination with contractors and architects.

You will apply REVIT, AutoCAD MEP, and SKM software, participate in QA/QC, manage project budgets, and mentor junior staff. This is a hybrid position with in-office and remote Fridays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in a consulting environment preferred.
• Strong CAD/BIM skills and familiarity with building systems.

Responsabilités

• Represent the Firm in interactions with clients, contractors, and project teams.
• Provide system design using CAD/BIM; perform calculations with appropriate software.
• Coordinate with other trades and senior staff to meet project goals.
• Perform construction administration and field investigations; prepare inspection reports.
• Manage CAD/BIM and other technical staff on assigned projects.
