Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in New York, NY is seeking a Mechanical Engineer III-IV to join our NYC office. You will develop basic designs under guidance, perform equipment selections, and run load/energy calculations for a variety of projects.

The role requires REVIT and MEP proficiency, withCAD/REVIT deliverables and coordination across disciplines. A FE certification and experience in aviation/large-scale projects are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited institution.
• 5–9 years of relevant MEP experience on aviation, healthcare or large projects.
• Proficient in REVIT, AutoCAD MEP and energy analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Create basic designs under supervision and select equipment.
• Perform load/energy and pressure drop calculations for projects.
• Coordinate with design teams and interact with clients and consultants.
• Assist in due diligence, feasibility studies, and CAD/REVIT drawings.
