Job summary

Salas O’Brien is seeking a Senior Project Manager in our Industrial Power and Process division in the Nashville area. The role oversees large utility generation/distribution projects, with involvement in business development, marketing, and project management duties.

Responsibilities include directing complex mechanical designs, coordinating with diverse teams, and guiding junior engineers. A PE license and 10+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
• B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited school.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Must have project management experience.
• Willingness to build and maintain client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex mechanical projects from programming through construction administration.
• Manage and supervise mechanical engineering staff to meet timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure constructability.
• Develop proposals and RFP responses with resumes and fee estimates.
• Assist market segment manager in developing client base through business development efforts.
