Job summary

Salas O’Brien, Inc. is seeking a licensed Mechanical Engineer in Nashville to join our Industrial Power and Process team. Work encompasses large utility generation, distribution systems, and manufacturing facilities, with duties spanning business development and project management.

You will lead design efforts, coordinate with disciplines, and mentor staff while applying industry codes and Salas O’Brien standards to deliver high-impact solutions.

Qualifications

• Experiences with PFD and P&ID development.
• Knowledge of steam and hydronic systems.
• Experience with power generation facility design.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate with clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design within Industrial Power and Process.
• Develop and review drawings/packages for Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build.
• Support project management and client relationships.
